Not sure what glassy window you refer to (there are actually no window panes in this specific series).
In any case I never have photographed kois!
If you are talking about the shot called “Shine on”, now I can see a shape as of a fish, under the butterfly; but it is all games of mud with leftovers of dead leaves eaten by the acid water of some Yellowstone pond.

Water is of all things what most stimulates my creatvity, maybe because it is so much linked to life.
Ice is frozen life, that will eventually melt into flowing life; the skeletons in the water are rotting life that is just about to transform itself into earth, and then back into life.
